Prime Viewing Spot for Freedom Days Fireworks

San Juan College provides an excellent location to view the Freedom Days fireworks display from Sullivan Hill on Wednesday, July 3. The main campus parking lots near the West Classroom Complex and the Educational Services Building will open for viewers starting at 3 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for a comfortable viewing experience. Please note, personal fireworks, charcoal grills, alcohol, skateboards, and bikes are not allowed on campus.

Independence Day Campus Closure

In observance of Independence Day, San Juan College will be closed on Thursday, July 4. During this holiday closure, there will be no classes or activities, and all offices will be closed, including the Health and Human Performance Center. This closure affects the main campus, East Campus in Aztec, West Campus in Kirtland, and all other satellite locations.

Security and Assistance

Despite the closure, the San Juan College Department of Public Safety will have security officers on duty. For non-emergency assistance, contact a security officer at 505-566-4444. For urgent needs, officers can be reached at 505-566-3333.

Campus Reopening

San Juan College will resume regular hours on Friday, July 5.
